Welcome to Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

December 2008

From the Principal

Thank you to each family who shared their grandparents with us last Wednesday.  The liturgy was beautiful and many commented on how beautifully the children sang.  Breakfast was delicious and despite the raindrops everyone enjoyed visiting the classrooms and meeting our wonderful teachers.  A huge thank you to the many people who worked behind the scenes to make this day special – your help and hard work filled this day with many memories that will last a lifetime.

From Mrs. Doherty
Did you see us in the Tidings?  “Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Pasadena and Immaculate Conception in Monrovia – have called St. Didacus to inquire about ways to help fire victims.”  Mrs. Doherty has a cool solution to their hot problems. There will be ice cream sandwiches and big sticks for sale the week of December 10th-14th.  The ice-cream-shop will be setup outside 3rd grade at lunch and after school for $1.  The ice cream is being donated and all proceeds will go to St Didacus.
